Observe The 2 Week Rule

Avoid instant gratification and the urge to indulge yourself on something that may really not be necessary to buy. By waiting 2 weeks to decide on a purchase you'll cultivate a discipline that will pay dividends.
You'll find that more often than not, after 2 weeks have passed the urge to purchase has passed, and you’ll have saved that money simply by waiting. If it is a necessary purchase then you'll have 14 days to do better research on how to make the best purchase possible for your money. Perhaps you'll come across the same exact thing on sale.
